Cancellation Policies:
- Cancellations have to be received more than 72 hours before 3 pm (NST) check-in.
- Cancellation made less than 72 hours before arrival or non-arrival will be billed at the standard rate.
- Guests are encouraged to obtain travel insurance to cover potential losses or additional costs incurred due to untimely cancellations.

Rates and Occupancy
- All rates are based on up to double occupancy.
- Where occupancy allows additional people is at $20 per person per night
Payment
- Guests must be 19 or older to reserve a room.
- A valid Credit Card is required to confirm your reservation.
- Cash, credit (Visa, MasterCard) and debit cards are accepted for payment.
- Payment for your stay is secured by credit card upon booking and will be charged on your day of arrival.
Taxes
- Sales tax in Newfoundland and Labrador is 15%, which will be applied to your bill and appear as GST/HST.

Travelling with Minors
- Minors under the age of 18 have to be accompanied by an adult in the room.
- Children under the age of 8 stay free.
Check-in/out Policy
- Check-in time is 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm.

Smoking / Vaping
- Our premises are smoke-free and vape-free. For the health of guests and staff, no-smoking or vaping is permitted inside the building or rooms. Smoking or vaping anywhere in a building or a room will result in a $250 smoke sanitation fee.
- According to Newfoundland and Labrador regulations, smoking or vaping is not permitted within 15 meters of any entrance to our buildings.
Pets
- Our properties currently do not accommodate pets; however, we accommodate certified service dogs.
Quiet Policy
- To help ensure everyone’s rest, all properties enforce quiet hours from 11 pm to 7 am. During this time, only registered guests are allowed in rooms and suites.Gatherings and parties in any of our rooms and suites are not permitted.
Parking
- The Anchor Inn Hotel and properties offer free parking for guests at their own risk.
Force Majeure
- The Anchor Inn Hotel shall not be held liable for any loss, damage, or inconvenience caused by Force Majeure events. Guests are encouraged to obtain travel insurance to cover potential losses or additional costs incurred due to Force Majeure.
